Passing through is the English translation of "Di Passaggio," which is the name of this personal/production blog for my film and trip to Italy over the course of May 16 - June 23rd, 2008.

I plan to update this often with pictures and many details, covering personal and filmmaking experiences.

My documentary follows four college students, a devout Catholic in the heart of his religion, a Senior about to enter the workplace, a sheltered Freshman unsure about her future, and a first time international traveler who has never been separated from his girlfriend.

In addition to the film, I will be taking two classes, Drawing and Printmaking while in the city of Montepulciano (Monday/Wednesday), taking trips on Tuesday and Thursday, and spending the weekends exploring and shooting in major cities.

My flight is today at 6:00 p.m. from Hartsfield-Jackson International in Atlanta, Georgia, connecting in Frankfurt, Germany, then Rome, and finally a bus to Montepulciano sometime late Saturday afternoon.

Until then, Ciao!
